About the Author

J. A. MacCulloch

Julie Ann MacCulloch began writing Lucy Lavender and the Topiary City while living on Waiheke Island in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf. Inspired by a childhood spent in a garden full of roses, native forest, and a single striking lavender plant, she wrote a story that turns real botany into a living, breathing maze — and a heroine who learns to believe in herself along the way. She is currently working on her next book.
